Do you think it would be better to book my theory test on my 17th and try and pass that, then concentrate on driving.

Or start driving and do my theory a month or two in?

Whilst  your driving you learn alot more than what a book or the CD can do. I am currently getting ready to book my theory.

    Just start driving

    Sorted

Get your theory test out the way...it's a piece of piss! You can do a mock test on the DVLA website...most the questions on that come up on the real test!!

Yu've got the right idea. Get the theory out the way first.

Start learning first!.. It's pretty obvious.

You'll get asked questions that will be easier to answer if you've some experience of the situations...Roads and so on.

Theory test first. I didn't even revise one bit and I passed it on my first time. I just drive my Mom's jeep around now.

I would try and get it out of the way but not on your 17th. Like someone said, you do learn some things while on your driving lessons which could be useful. But if you get some of the mock books and cds, basically the exact questions are on it. So you just memorise, and some are just common sense!

So i would suggest having a few lessons first then booking

You were born an original. Don't die a copy.
